Our philosophy...
In 1976, Giles Engineering Associates, Inc. was founded on the principle of
providing true customer service by thoroughly understanding a client’s needs
and by delivering high-quality engineering services on time and within budget.
We still believe in that concept and practice that commitment to
professionalism. That is the difference between Giles and other consulting
engineering firms.
Customer service starts with understanding clients and their needs, concerns,
and perspectives. Without this knowledge, the uniqueness of each project is
lost and both service and engineering become average.
Quality engineering requires careful attention to every project element. It
requires an understanding of design details, schedule, and budget. Quality
engineering means studying and implementing innovative solutions when project
complexities arise. It means having a professional staff that is committed to
continuing education and is familiar with state of the art technologies.
Quality engineering requires more than having hundreds of offices. Giles
Engineering Associates, Inc. believes that quality engineering and client
service requires personal attention to every detail. It means performing all
services (subsurface drilling, laboratory testing, construction materials
testing, and industrial hygiene services) in-house by a dedicated staff. It
requires that each office be staffed with qualified professionals (and not just
a telephone answering service) and utilize quality equipment.
